Giovanni Battista Pescetti

Pescetti studied music with Lotti who was simply the organist in St. Mark’s in Venice. Lotti was also an opera composer and Galuppi, whom Pescetti collaborated with, was also among Lotti’s learners. Composing a mass which impressed Hasse from the Viennese courtroom, Pescetti was asked to provide operas that have been performed in several the theatres in Vienna, 1725-1732. In 1736 Pescetti is at London, playing the harpsichord and getting the director from the Opera from the Nobility. A lot of his operas had been performed generally there as had been his key pad sonatas predicated on agreements of arias as well as the overture to his opera “La conquista del velo d’oro.” He came back to Vienna in 1747 acceding to the positioning of second organist at St. Mark’s in 1762.
