The Hot Dogs

The Hot Dogs were Sérgio Hinds’ (future O Terço leader) first group, and had Paulo Jobim for the drums. The group was substantially active through the “Jovem Guarda,” featuring its personal show for the Rádio Roquette Pinto (the Popular Dogs Display). The Popular Dogs had been also employed by Flávio Cavalcanti as a normal assisting music group for the Jovem Guarda organizations that performed on his Television show. The music group became O Terço after becoming became a member of by Vinicius Cantuária, if they supported Ivan Lins in his first recordings for the label Forma, learning to be a assisting group at Philips through the early ’70s.
