Michael Amendola

Michael Amendola is a reed participant that is most widely known for taking part in the flute, tenor and alto saxophones for Tony Trischka. But together with his use the banjo virtuoso, Amendola also maintains a solo profession. Frequently collaborating with pianist Rick Germanson, bassist Phil Palombi, and drummer Keith Hall, Amendola’s debut record (Big Sunflower) used all three when it found its way to 2002. A soft, haunting jazz record, it had been his first possibility to display his songwriting abilities together with his performing talents.
