Atakhama

Heavily influenced simply by borderline death/dark metal bands such as for example Poland’s Behemoth, Norway’s Zyklon, and, previously still, Americans Morbid Angel, Atakhama was founded in 2004, when Jyväskylä, Finland natives Simo Rahikainen (guitar), J-V Hintikka (guitar), Matti Honkonen (bass), and drummer Timo Häkkinen decided their current band, Funeris Nocturnum, had run its course of action. Seeking a brand new start to opt for their new path, they joined causes with vocalist Jimmy Salmi and authorized with Woodcut Information, issuing their debut recording, Living Indifferent, in the dark/death metal cross style in Apr 2005.
