Marinho da Muda

Among the founders from the Império da Tijuca samba college, composer of strikes recorded by Jorge Veiga (“Boi com Stomachóbora”, with Veiga) and Clara Nunes, amongst others, Marinho da Muda wrote in 22 his initial tune, “Deixei a Boêmia”. In 1956 the Império da Tijuca paraded to 1 of his sambas-enredo, carrying on to provide his compositions for another years, always effectively. In 1959, the samba college got the 3rd place of the next department (Grupo II) with “Homenagem aos Bombeiros” (with Henrique Cândido/João Galvão). In 1967, his samba “Reino Encantado de Vicente Guimarãha sido” (with Jorge Melodia) taken to the Unidos da Tijuca samba college the 8th host to the first department (Grupo I).
