High Aura’d

Boston-based guitarist John Kolodij began his High Aura’d project in ’09 2009, and his droning soundscapes had been released about cassette and CD-R by labels such as for example Stunned Records, Reverb Worship, and Sweat Lodge Guru. His 1st vinyl launch, Sanguine Futures, made an appearance on Bathetic Information in 2012, and presented trumpet from Greg Kelley of Nmerpign and creation by Type creator John Twells (aka Xela). A break up 7″ with Bloodstream Bright Star adopted in 2013, and the next year Large Aura’d collaborated with Angel Olsen around the track “Red Stones,” that was released on I Blame Reaganomics, a compilation LP on Corleone Information. Pursuing his relocation to Rhode Isle, Kolodij documented the Awake LP at his house studio in cooperation with Mike Shiflet, and Type released the recording in 2015.
