The Invaders

The Invaders were a sextet from Charlottesville, VA comprising Steve Drumheller (drums, vocals), Aivars Osvalds (organ), Bobby Pollock (saxophone, vocals), Steve Pollock (guitar, vocals), Gilbert Roberts (bass), and Harold Roberts (trumpet, drums, harmonica). They performed the faculty and senior high school dance circuit around Virginia and NEW YORK, focusing on rousing addresses of then-current r&b specifications (“Stubborn Sort of Fellow” etc.), essentially performing the type of repertory that Expenses Offer & the Rhondells, operating through the same neck from the woods, took onto the graphs.
