Shirley Rumsey

Shirley Rumsey studied lute and tone of voice on the Royal University of Music, London. There she became thinking about single vocal music followed by lute and she shortly developed a distinctive career where she performs this repertoire. Furthermore to single recitals, she often collaborates with lutenist Christopher Wilson with whom she co-directs the ensemble Kithara. Rumsey provides performed thoroughly throughout European countries and Scandinavia, provides taken part in various festivals, and produced numerous recordings.
