Hayko Cepkin

Hayko Cepkin can be an educated musician, despite his rebel picture in the Turkish large music scene. Delivered in Istanbul in 1978, Cepkin researched performing at Mimar Sinan College or university and later went to Timur Selcuk Modern Music Middle for performing and music theory. After piano research on the Akademi Istanbul, he finally released his professional musical profession in 1997. Being a keyboardist, composer, and arranger, Cepkin provides participated in various albums and caused many music artists — the list contains Koray Candemir, Demir Demirkan, Aylin Aslim, and Ogun Sanlisoy. After gathering knowledge for quite some time, Cepkin made a decision to discharge his very own music, and had written, performed, and created his debut — Sakin Olmam Lazim (I have to Stay Quiet), released in 2005 by EMI Turkey — completely by himself. The tracks were generally, and naturally, predicated on keyboards, and shown a wide mixture of ethnic influences. Combining rock and roll, digital, and Arabesque (a subgenre of Turkish folk that’s generally a musical design of the functioning course), Cepkin’s 1st album was fulfilled with reviews that are positive. In comparison to his following music, the debut was just like the silence prior to the surprise. Nevertheless, he didn’t wait around long, and gathered his thoughts for demonstration in both music video clips and live shows. Cepkin’s second work, Tanisma Bitti (Intro HAS ENDED), found its way to 2007. The name of the recording was the original indication of what folks should anticipate from it.
