Glorinha Gadelha

Glorinha Gadelha has already established noted involvement in the country wide and international music picture, both being a composer and an interpreter. Her music have been documented by such performers as Clara Nunes (“Feira de Mangaio,” “Como É Grande e Bonita a Natureza”), Luiz Gonzaga, Zé Ramalho, Quarteto em Cy, Moraes Moreira, Elba Ramalho, and Amelinha. In 1968, she participated in the present A Grande Possibility (Television Tupi). Within the next calendar year, she gained the III Celebration de Música Popular Paraibana. In 1974, she composed the reserve O Bailado das Sardinhas. Within the next calendar year, she transferred to the U.S. where she examined music at Columbia School at NY for just two years, where she performed many times, also with Sivuca (her hubby and partner on strikes like “Energia” and “Feira de Mangaio”). In 1981, currently surviving in Brazil, she documented her first solo record, Bendito o Fruto, accompanied by a rise in her worldwide performances. She proceeds to execute and record.
