Pink Floyd Floydhead

Operating away from Grand Rapids, Michigan because the late 2000s, DJ and Green Floyd enthusiast Seth Thomas started Floydhead being a loose collective of DJs and electronic artists providing reinterperative mixes and techno re-imaginings from the music of Green Floyd. Lengthy compilation-styled record The Floydian Propulsion Task sampled from most of Green Floyd’s studio room albums, leading to 20 monitors of warped atmosphere and generating electronica focused around snippets both familiar and obscure through the Floyd catalog.
