Norman Mason

Pianist Norman Mason offers performed and recorded using the 911 Mambo Orchestra, fronted by music movie director Angel Melendez. He shouldn’t be confused using the Norman Mason who performed New Orleans jazz on a number of different horns until the past due ’60s. The pianist’s flexibility fits up well using the 911 Mambo Orchestra’s repertoire, which also carries a Latin reworking of “Havah Nagilah.”
