Alan Cohen

Arranger, composer, soprano, tenor sax. A tuned composer, Alan Cohen provides written tracks and done preparations for many music artists and groupings in his homeland of Britain. Included in these are Humphrey Littleton, Chris Barber, the air place orchestras of Germany, Denmark and Britain, plus Bing Crosby. Cohen shaped a big music group in 1971 to try out Duke Ellington’s music, which orchestra documented an album’s well worth in 1972. From then on orchestra disbanded in 1973, Cohen and Keith Nichols led The Midnite Follies Orchestra, beginning in 1978. Cohen published arrangements for any 31-piece music group led by Rolling Rocks’ drummer Charlie W in 1985, and in ’86 created his personal quintet.
