Edgar Tinel

Tinel studied piano with Brassin and structure with Gavaert on the Brussels Conservatory. Originally he was thinking about learning to be a virtuoso performer but provided this up for structure. “Klokke Roeland” was a cantata which he constructed in 1877 earning the Belgian Award of Rome. He became the movie director from the Malines Institute of Spiritual Music in 1881.
