Acquiring their name from your Drive Like Jehu song, the spastic post-hardcore of southern California’s Bullet Teach to Vegas came into being beneath the direction of vocalist/guitarist Dan Sena, formerly of Adamantium and present Until Eliminated. After his earlier rings disbanded, Sena wished to type something new that could problem what he experienced to become stagnant punk and indie rock and roll scenes. After obtaining a short lineup jointly, the Profile This EP was shortly documented and released in limited quantities in 2003. Stuff didn’t quite gel, nevertheless, and pursuing that record, an entire member overhaul occurred. Accordingly, Sena stated that Bullet Teach to Vegas never really started until he discovered the kindred spirits of Greg Horton (bass/vocals), Erik Bailey (electric guitar), and Marty Cornish (drums). Jointly, the guys enhanced their sound, including components of Gang of Four, Fugazi, and Clikatat Ikatowi, and had taken it from the road, writing stages on the way with famous brands Bloc Party, Sparta, Pretty Young ladies Make Graves, JR Ewing, and even more. The quartet started composing its debut record in the springtime of 2004, and after manufacturer Alex Newport (On the Drive-In, the Locust) captured breeze of some demos, he insisted the people record with him in his studio room. An unmastered edition of the causing We Place Scissors Where Our Mouths Are dropped on ears at Nitro Information, which then found Bullet Teach to Vegas and released the band’s record in June 2005.
