Carlo Milanuzzi

Milanuzzi was both a poet and an organist who all spent a lot of his amount of time in north Italy. He kept positions as organist and/or professional from the chapel in several places including S Stefano, Venice, the Augustinian cathedral in Perugia, S Eufemia, Verona, S Stefano, Venice, Finale de Modena, Camerino Cathedral and S Mauro, Noventa di Piave. Though he was a dynamic priest and cathedral musician, Milanuzzi constructed several secular monodies. Many of them had been brief, tuneful arias with feasible letters for your guitar. Being a monodist, Milanuzzi was quite intensifying pressing the proverbial horizon of monody in the introduction of the strophic aria. His sacred music also shows a significant body of monodic books. Motets which he constructed had been unified by sectional tutti contrasted with comprehensive single passages. Milanuzzi utilized an occasional surface bass in a few of his compositions and he also attempted psalm configurations using fewer voices than the majority of his contemporaries.
