Jared Leto

Initially called an actor (especially in the ’90s TV drama My So-Called Life and in movies like Requiem for the Dream), Jared Leto also had musical ambitions. His music group, 30 Secs to Mars, debuted in 2002 with an record whose epic, psychological post-grunge audio was suggestive of groupings like Chevelle or Incubus. The music group returned 3 years afterwards with A LOVELY Rest, another anthemic record that marketed over 3.5 million copies and helped concrete 30 Secs to Mars’ status among the era’s leading alternative rock acts.
