Fleur

Fleur means rose in French. Managing between rock, modern, and neo-classical music, this Odessa-based Russian-singing group appears like a sensitive flower itself. Affluent female voices coupled with traditional strings and flutes aswell as computer systems and hard rock and roll guitars offer both tenderness and pressure, present and eternal. Although closest to Fleur’s design is definitely Enya, this Ukrainian music group has its distinguished audio with some gothic feeling affected also by Soviet films soundtracks, Russian and Ukrainian folklore, and cultural fusion (especially Enigma). Essentially Fleur is definitely Olga Pulatova (piano, business lead vocals) and Elena Voinarovskaya (electric guitar, business lead vocals), who started their initial joint rehearsals in Feb 2000. Over time, both poets, composers, and music artists became encircled by flutist Yulia Zemlyanaya, cellist Ekaterina Serbina, and drummer Alexei Tkachevskii. After their initial public performances in Odessa, Fleur received support from regional musical journalist Dmitrii Vekov, who became the manufacturer of the group. Early 2001 noticed Fleur offering its initial concert outdoors Odessa (in Kiev), obtaining Vitalii Didyk (contrabass) and Alexei Dovgalyov (sequencer), and focusing on its initial record at Fortuna Studio room (Odessa). In Dec 2001 the France label Prikosnovenie produced an offer to create it in France for worldwide distribution except Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. In Sept 2002 the record using the same name, Prikosnovenie (Contact), was released in France in support of two months afterwards in Ukraine. It’s simply strange and relatively enigmatic the way the French label, unlike Russian and Ukrainian types, understood about Fleur. As soon as Feb 2002 Fleur started focusing on its second record, Volshebstvo (Magic), at Stolitsa Studio room (Kiev). The sound of the device was different because of brand-new musicians who became a member of the music group: Anastasia Kuzmina (violin) and Alexandra Didik (cello). Furthermore Alexey Dovgalyov on synthesizer was changed by Ekaterina Kotelnikova. The record was released in November 2003 in Ukraine combined with the brand-new model of Prikosnovenie and in Apr 2004 in France. Month previously Vladimir Filippov’s Arts Finance became the patron of the group to resolve all Fleur’s materials problems for advantage of creative function. While Volshebstvo required 13 weeks to just work at, third recording Siyanie (Radiance) was documented in one month (Dec 2003) and released in August 2004 in Ukraine and in June 2005 in France. IN-MAY 2004 Alla Luzhetskaya occupied the area of flutist. Siyanie was the 1st Fleur recording that was observed by vast people of critics and listeners both in Ukraine and Russia. While heretofore concerts have already been sporadic, since summer season 2004 Fleur is at great demand. In November 2004 music group management visited Get better at U.O.R.T. Creation Producer Center, mounted on Vladimir Filippov’s Arts Account. Fleur started intense concert activity. In June 2005 1st shows in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg occurred. In Apr 2006 Vsyo Vishlo Iz-Pod Kontrolya (Everything HAS GONE OUT of Control) and in 2007 Fleurography had been released.
