Walter Slezak

b. 3 Might 1902, Vienna, Austria-Hungary, d. 21 Apr 1983, Bloom Hill, NY, USA. The boy of well-known opera vocalist Leo Slezak, Walter was discovered by film movie director Miháli Kertész (afterwards referred to as Michael Curtiz). Prompted to become stage and display screen actor, he produced his film debut in Kertész’s Sodom Und Gomorrha (1922).
