Stormwitch

This German rock quintet, who employed a solid satanic/gothic horror image, were formed by guitarist Lee Tarot (b. Harold Spengler) in 1981, as well as Andy Aldrian (vocals), Steve Vendor (acoustic guitar), Ronny Pearson (bass) and Pete Lancer (drums). They were all fellow Germans, who however altered their titles to be able to audio American. Their 1st three albums provided undistinguished Euro-metal, similar to Running Crazy, and made small effect outside Germany. Too little success noticed them change path on 1987’s THE WONDER AS WELL AS THE Beast, adopting a far more straightforward really difficult rock strategy – all to small avail, however, using the band disintegrating quickly afterwards.
