Johnny Marr & the Healers

For the very first time in the 13 years following the Smiths called it quits, Johnny Marr announced that he previously formed his own band aptly titled Johnny Marr’s Healers. It had been certainly a welcomed proclamation such as those 13 years Marr was mainly an exaggerated sideman (just as much as somebody of his personal sound, skill, and reputation could be) dealing with famous brands Kirsty McColl, the The, your pet Shop Children, the Talking Minds, and Billy Bragg. After some little membership outings in the U.K., the group continued to tour European countries assisting Oasis in the summertime of 2000 gleaning enthusiastic evaluations. Regrettably, the record rumored to become entitled Play Dumb hadn’t discovered a label release a it and for that reason continued to take a seat on the shelf. In August of 2002 Marr released the news headlines that he previously finally discovered a label and his record (right now called Boomslang) will be released in January of 2003
