The New Sound of Numbers

Located in Athens, GA, experimental post-punk group the brand new Sound of Numbers was a task led by visible artist and percussionist Hannah Jones, an associate of Circulatory System as well as the Instruments. It had been essentially a one-woman music group, but Jones, operating largely in the home, documented the debut recording Liberty Seed products with help from Heather McIntosh (from the Devices, Elf Power, and Japancakes), John Fernandes (from the Olivia Tremor Control, Circulatory Program, Elf Power, and Dark Meats), Can Cullen Hart (from the Olivia Tremor Control and Circulatory Program), and Expenses Doss (from the Olivia Tremor Control and sunlight Fix). It had been released by Fernandes’ impartial label Cloud Recordings on Oct 10, 2006, and advertised with a tour.
