Len Barnard

b. Leonard Arthur Barnard, 23 Apr 1929, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. After playing drums in the family members band, Barnard created his personal traditional jazz music group in the past due 40s. This music group, among the first Australian groups to create jazz information, was so well-known that it continued to be active for a lot more than two decades. In this same period Barnard also used other groups which range from jazz to dance music and he also gigged and documented numerous music artists, including Ade Monsbourgh and Dave Dallwitz. In the first 70s Barnard relocated to Sydney, where he used lots of the nation’s leading music artists including Errol Buddle and John Sangster, after that became a member of Galapagos Duck, a music group led by Tom Hare. He also performed sometimes with rings led by his more youthful sibling, Bob Barnard. In the past due 90s he was energetic with a number of performers and made an appearance on record with many of them, including Janet Seidel. Although Barnard’s playing is usually forceful in the greater extroverted configurations of a lot of his jazz function, his discreet and propulsive golf swing and his capable usage of brushes present him to become an achieved mainstream drummer.
