Rings

A fittingly round name to get a band which makes trance-inducing, tribal music, Bands formed through the ashes of Initial Country. When Melissa Livaudais still left the group, Abby Portner became a member of remaining people Kate Rosko and Nina Mehta. The trio continuing as First Country until previous Múm member Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir became a member of them while these were recording that which was going to end up being their second record. Inspired with the record title Bands, the quartet produced that their name aswell. Bands released their debut record of “patchworked tranced feminist compositions” in early 2008 on Paw Paths.
