Neil Christian & the Crusaders

b. Christopher Tidmarsh, 14 Feb 1943, Hoxton, East London, Britain. With support group the Crusaders, Christian was among the pioneering works of Britain’s pre- Beatles period. His initial line-up included guitarist Jimmy Web page, who was afterwards featured being a program musician in the vocalist’s 1964 discharge, ‘Honey Hush’. Albert Lee, Mick Abrahams and Alex Dmochowski (afterwards of Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation) also graced the Crusaders at different moments in its profession, while Ritchie Blackmore (electric guitar), Elmer Twitch (piano), Bibi Blange (bass) and Tornado Evans (drums) backed Christian when he toured to market ‘That’s Great’.
