Shaped in 1994, the Chicago-based alt-country unit Support Pilot originally contains simply singers/guitarists Matt Weber and Jon Williams; bassist Chris Grady agreed upon on 2 yrs afterwards, and in 1997 the music group released its debut LP Help Needed, Love Required, Caretaker. 2 yrs later, Support Pilot — today comprising Weber, Grady, guitarist Tommy O’Donnell and drummer Sean Fogarty — resurfaced using a self-titled LP on Doolittle.
