White colored was a significant person in Cab Calloway’s tempo section through the ‘30s. White colored discovered banjo as a kid; he later used guitar, aswell. He performed with Charlie Creath, Dewey Jackson, and Ethel Waters through the middle ‘20s, then became a member of the Missourians in 1928, sticking to the group after Calloway assumed its management in 1930. White colored remaining Calloway in 1937; after playing for a while with Lionel Hampton around 1941, he quit playing music regular.
