Morris Minors

Morris Minors is definitely a roots rock and roll three-piece through the suburbs of Chicago. Made up of three close friends, vocalist/guitarist Cameron McGill, bassist Gabe Grout and drummer Paul Callen, Morris Minors arrived collectively in 2000 and tagged themselves following the biggest little car in the globe, Great Britain’s Morris Small. They began playing little gigs in regional pubs, but by 2001 the music group was headlining displays at a few of Chicago’s finer night clubs like Schuba’s, the Two times Door, as well as the Defeat Kitchen. Soon thereafter, Morris Minors started working with maker Tag Rubel (Hum, Mojo Nixon, Menthol) to get a self-titled EP, which made an appearance in early 2002.
