Min Leibrook

Min Leibrook is best-known for having been Adrian Rollini’s fill-in for saving periods manufactured in the later 1920’s. An excellent all-round musician, Leibrook in fact began on cornet before switching towards the bass musical instruments. He used the Ten Feet Music group in Chicago, a afterwards version from the Wolverines and with Arnold Johnson. After arriving in NY, Leibrook caused Paul Whiteman’s Orchestra during 1927-31, showing up on many recordings; he also was on a number of the periods by Frankie Trumbauer that highlighted Bix Beiderbecke. Although his glory times were generally over after departing Whiteman, Leibrook was with Lennie Hayton’s Orchestra in the middle-1930’s, caused the Three T’s in 1936 (which presented Frankie Trumbauer and Jack port and Charlie Teagarden) and was with Eddie Duchin on the couple events. Min Leibrook, who by no means led his personal record date, ultimately moved to LA where he performed bass like a studio room musician during his last years.
