Michel Mañanes is a prominent France pianist currently surviving in Spain. Highly esteemed for his delicate and technically refined renditions from the Classical piano repertoire, including functions by Albeniz, Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Debussy, Ravel, Granados, Liszt, and Rachmaninov, he’s also a well-known instructor and music critic. Mañanes began his musical research at age six, in the Conservatoire de Musique in Fontainebleau, France, where his instructor was Gisèle Lambert. Mañanes excelled at Fontainebleau, carrying out widely and earning First Prize in a number of performance contests. At age fourteen, Mañanes used in the Conservatoire Country wide de Troyes, where he analyzed with Geneviève Jacques-Dupont. After completing his research at Troyes, with the best variation, Mañanes entered the Conservatory of Santander, Spain, where his instructor was Manuel Valcarel. Having received several contests during his research at Santander, Mañanes acquired a scholarship to review in the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. In the Madrid Conservatory, Mañanes analyzed piano with Joaquin Soriano, also developing experience in a number of topics, including chamber music and piano pedagogy. As a fantastic graduate from the Madrid Conservatory, Mañanes received a complete scholarship to review in the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna, where his professors included Hans Graf, Carmen Graf-Adnet, Cristina Karayeva, and Oleg Maisenberg. Currently called an achieved recitalist in Vienna, Mañanes acquired a Diploma from your Hochschule in 1987. Following a conclusion of his research, Mañanes founded himself in Santander, where he’s active like a concert pianist and instructor.
