Melony

Unrelated towards the folk singer-songwriter of the first 70s who travelled beneath the same name, the 90s Melony had been a trio from Stockholm, Sweden, who customized in angular but commercial pop rock and roll. The music group comprised comic reserve translator Peter Kvint (electric guitar/vocals), Mana Eriksson (drums) and Gunnar Norden (bass), who originally shaped to try out at a friend’s wedding ceremony. Carrying out a domestic-only EP for Sweden’s Cleaning soap label, these were agreed upon by Minty Refreshing Records’ leader Jim Forces for American and mainstream Western european produces in 1997. A debut record, Satisfaction, implemented in August 1997, the tracks dominated by satisfying hooks and melodies and Kvint’s individualistic undertake American pop tradition – the very best examples becoming ‘Big Dipper’ and ‘Barbra Streisand Nose’.
