Marie van Rhijn

Marie truck Rhijn is a France harpsichordist. She started playing music at age group seven, and finally went to the Paris Conservatoire, where she examined harpsichord and basso continuo with Olivier Baumont and Blandine Rannou, respectively. Graduating this year 2010, she pursued additional studies on the Royal University of Music in London, where she caused Terence Charlston and Jane Chapman. She’s performed internationally, offering recitals in France, holland, Italy, Brazil, Russia, Austria, and Germany, and she’s performed with her very own exclusive ensemble of harpsichord, harp, and violin, Trio Dauphine, which gained the 2012 FNAPEC (Fédération Nationale des Organizations de Parents d’Élèves de Conservatoires) Paris Chamber Competition and documented their initial Compact disc on Arion. She actually is the harpsichord teacher on the Conservatoire ? Rayonnement Régional in Cergy-Pontoise, and may be the vocal trainer at the Center de Musique Baroque de Versailles. In 2015, she toured for just two months using the Baroque period ensemble Les Arts Florissants. She released her initial solo record of harpsichord music by Marin Marais on the data label.
