Last Burning Embers

New York’s Last Burning up Embers are an atmospheric, post-punk influenced music group within the spirit of Objective of Burma, the Audio and Getting rid of Joke, in addition to later rings like Swervedriver and Catherine Steering wheel. Vocalist Ben Voss, guitarist/vocalist Dave Burokas, drummer Jack port Rabid (Springhouse, THE BEST Takeover) and bassist Thomas Burke (Slambook) shaped the music group in 1996. After producing their debut on the tribute to Adrian Borland as well as the Sound, the music group was struck a significant blow in 1999 using the loss of life of Voss, who dropped sufferer to Leukemia. Choosing to continue, the rest of the three renamed themselves Last Burning up Embers. The discharge from the band’s 1st EP, Distress Contact, coincided having a November 2000 day starting for the Buzzcocks at Maxwell’s in Hoboken.
