Biography
Essentially a multimedia art project, Fresh York-based Lansing-Dreiden is really a self-described “company that sees simply no distinction between art and commerce — or other things.” They started producing materials in 2001 using the publication of the literary journal, Death Notices. Small is known regarding the group’s people, except they are Miami natives, won’t be photographed, is only going to carry out interviews by e-mail, rather than perform live. Their audio debut, Imperfect Triangle, can be an eccentric mixture of garage area, fantasy pop, space rock and roll, and early-’90s techno. It had been released in Apr 2004 on Kemado Information and adopted in November with the EP, Sectioned Beam.
