Vocalist/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anand Wilder is most beneficial referred to as a co-founder of shape-shifting experimental indie rockers Yeasayer, whom he helped to create in 2006 together with longtime friend and creative co-conspirator Chris Keating. Sometime around 2008, Wilder started working on materials with friend and fellow multi-instrumentalist Maxwell Kardon, whom he documented with — among various other notable visitor performers — for another many years. The ensuing Break Range, an ambitious, full-blown rock and roll musical in regards to a Pa coal town offering guest areas from people of Yeasayer, MGMT, Dirty Projectors, and Vampire Weekend, premiered via Secretly Canadian in the summertime of 2014.
