Divinity of Pure Sound

Denver psychedelic music group, the Divinity of Pure Audio, was formed in 1967 beneath the name Friar Body fat and Close friends — based on the Colorado Music Web page in www.mountainmusic.net, singer/bassist George Gardine weighed just as much as 300 pounds — therefore the group’s early moniker.
