L.C. McKinley

Little-known Chicago guitarist L.C. McKinley was created Oct 22, 1918, in Winona, MS, but by 1941 he previously proven up in the Windy Town and was gigging frequently there by the end of the 10 years. An excellent guitarist in the T-Bone Walker mildew, McKinley spent the first ’50s dealing with pianist Eddie Boyd and do sessions with a lot of Chicago’s greatest blues players. He also trim a small number of uncommon and seldom came across singles for the Bird, State governments, Vee Jay, Bea & Baby, and Sunnyland record brands, none which established a lot of an market for McKinley. He was from the music business completely when he passed away in Chicago on January 19, 1970.
