Shaped by guitarist/vocalist/frontman Marc Pattini, the indie pop three-piece of Kisswhistle was adopted being a college hobby upon their Penn Condition beginnings in 1996. But after falling away from college in 1997, the music group became a full-time responsibility with Pattini getting associated with John Lancia (drums) and Pat “Marshall” Cary (bass). The trio debuted with two EPs that season, one being truly a divide with A Screenwriters Build on No Mauritania Imprint, as the various other getting the self-released Melvis as well as the Clownboy 7″. Carrying out a number of displays in their indigenous Pittsburgh, a short tour, in addition to several critical evaluations to Cub and Bunnygrunt, Lil’ Crimson Wagon Records added to Kisswhistle’s initial self-titled full-length in 1999.
