Ghoultown

The Texas-based music group Ghoultown combines punk rock, Western stylings, mariachi, along with a dosage of B-movie trappings which has earned them attention since their formation in 1999. Led by vocalist/guitarist Count number Lyle, and supported by guitarists Lizard Lazario and Jake Middlefinger, bassist Santi, trumpet participant Dez Dark, and drummer X-Ray Charles, Ghoultown released a three-song EP entitled Shoes or boots of Hell in past due 1999, gaining solid reviews plus some indie radio airplay. They implemented using a full-length discharge, Tales In the Dead West, 2 yrs later and concert events, sharing the costs with serves like Rocket In the Crypt, D.R.We., and Dick Dale. Ghoultown were able to gain even more publicity in 2002 when many of the band’s music were contained in the soundtrack from the slasher flick American Problem. The music group also acquired its eyes established on issuing a Ghoultown comic reserve penned by Lyle.
