This UK band was formed in 1978 by former Damned members Jon Moss (b. 11 Sept 1957, London, Britain; drums) and guitarist Lu Edmunds. These were became a member of by bass participant Glyn Havard and pianist Gavin Povey. Although they gigged thoroughly and undertook studio room work, support Kirsty MacColl around the solitary ‘They Don’t Understand’ and touring as Jane Aire AS WELL AS THE Belvederes, their personal work was mainly ignored. They released three singles (‘Macho Guy’, ‘Downhill’ and ‘Viewing You’) through the past due 70s, and released the recording Square 1 in 1980 before disbanding. Moss continued to join Tradition Golf club, while Edmunds teamed up with Athletico Spizz 80 and later on the Mekons. The rest of the members came back to session function.
