Among the best exponents of Euro hardcore, Denmark’s Barcode initial formed in 1995, and also have had just mysteriously named guitarist Panter being a regular existence. Co-founding vocalist Greg Fastrup and second guitarist Kenneth Madsen had been dispensed with soon after the band’s 1997 debut, Hard Plane Super Display (overseen by best metal manufacturer Tommy Hansen — Helloween, Quite Maids, etc.), and respectively changed by Butch and Hatesphere member Jacob “Dr. J” Bredahl. Ensuing Barcode albums possess included 1999’s Beerserk, 2000’s Aarhus Oedelaegger Julen divide 7″, 2002’s merely called Hardcore, and 2005’s Showdown, in addition to numerous compilation performances — most of them coping in only probably the most authentic and 100 % pure hardcore.
