Jack Name

Jack port Name may be the alias of prolific Los Angeles-based indie musician/maker John Webster Johns, who in addition has worked beneath the monikers from the Fictional Males and Muzz, amongst others. Johns is a fixture in the L.A. underground because the past due ’90s, liberating myriad recordings and finally collaborating with performers like Cass McCombs and White colored Fence (as guitarist in the live music group). Further developing the psychedelic and experimental pop varieties of previously projects, Johns’ 1st release beneath the Jack port Name moniker was the sci-fi-leaning Light Display album from Pull Town imprint God? Information, released in January 2014. After a change to Castle Encounter Records, Name came back with another album, Strange Moons, a 12 months later on in early 2015
