The Bullitts

Fusing classic soundtrack music with hip-hop like his U.S. counterpart Adrian Younge, U.K. vocalist, manufacturer, and filmmaker Jeymes Samuel uses the moniker the Bullitts for his unclassifiable music. He was a filmmaker initial, having shot his initial reels at age 8, but he started producing music at age 17, messing around with home music originally, and launching his 12″ “When It Rains” under his very own name over the Large Techniques label. His 2006 record The Prequel was located in hip-hop and released on Small Little league, a label that could debut his Bullitts task in 2007 with an individual of “The Bullitts Theme.” Called honoring the Steve McQueen film Bullitt, the task began uploading some “FlixTapes” video clips to the web this year 2010 with Samuel adding fresh vocals to his preferred movie and tv themes.
