THE BRAND NEW Snake Outfit was co-founded in Boston by alto saxophonist Ken Field and trumpeter Scott Getchell. Their 2003 record, Year from the Snake, though building from a fresh Orleans brass music group base, provides eclectic modern affects from funk, spirit, avant-garde, and even more.
