Led by award-winning singer/producer Thomas Troelsen, Personal certainly are a Danish dance-pop trio that debuted in 2007 with a high 10 album and a set of Top Five strikes. Prior to developing Personal with Asger Tarpgaard (acoustic guitar) and Tanja Simonsen (vocals), Troelsen is at the dance-pop sextet Superheroes (which also included Tarpgaard and Simonsen) from 1997-2006, where period the group released three albums — Dance Casanova (1998), Igloo (2000), and Superheroes (2002), the second option which was a high 20 strike in Denmark — and a best-of compilation, Behind Our Masks We Are Flawlessly Regular People (2004), not forgetting a small number of singles. Furthermore, Troelsen did creation/remix function for fellow Scandinavian functions including Junior Older (“Move Your Ft,” 2002), Melody Golf club (“Consider Me Away,” 2004; “Males in the Ladies’ Space,” “Wildhearts,” 2005), and Gisli (“The Globe Is usually Movin’,” 2007). In 2007 Personal released their full-length recording debut, My Key Lover, on Common Music Denmark. The recording broke in to the Top Ten from the Danish albums graph and spawned a set of major strikes, “My Secret Enthusiast” and “Crucify My Center,” which charted at number 2 and four, respectively. In the wake of the success, Troelsen received Man Vocalist of the entire year and Maker of the entire year in the 2007 Danish Music Honours; plus, arrangements had been made to launch My Secret Enthusiast internationally.
