Sayhitolisa

The energy pop antics of Sayhitolisa began in 1995 when two recovering NY speed metallic fanatics relocated to Boston after graduating from university. Originally comprising John Damask (acoustic guitar/vocals) and Robert Gaggin (drums/vocals), the duo started carrying out their inspirations of Tom Waits and Simon & Garfunkel at different open up mic coffeehouses. Ultimately recruiting Justin Day time on bass and vocals, Sayhitolisa advanced to their power pop audio and released three EPs — Everybody Hates Everybody (1995), It is time to Believe Once again (1996), and Unique Me (1997) — and a break up EP with Inhale Mary. Cactus Information ultimately released the rings’ initial full-length, Dali Ravioli, in March of 2000.
