Stop It

Using a sound as reckless and disorienting as On the Drive-In, Stop It generates a flurry of dark and subversive hardcore shrouded in the sound of mid-period Sonic Youth. The Richmond, Virginia music group shaped in 2001, playing their initial show — properly — on Halloween party of that season. In 2003, End It released their initial record — a harrowing combination between Daydream Country and Small Threat’s Out of Stage — on Richmond hardcore and screamo imprint Robotic Empire. Though frequently tagged with label, End It is barely math rock, even more accurately they most likely are categorized as a rubric like intensifying hardcore.
