Since the past due ’50s, Rev. Johnny L. Jones offers preached at Second Support Olive Baptist Chapel in Atlanta, combining sermons with natural gospel music that occasionally uses R&B/soul-influenced accompaniment. Given birth to in Alabama, Jones sang in the gospel organizations Jolly Four Gospel Performers as well as the Sensational Five Gospel Performers before shifting to Georgia. During his amount of time in Atlanta, he’s experienced radio displays on WAOK and WYZE, taping his chapel services weekly to allow them to be broadcast around the stations. This year 2010, Dust-to-Digital released a double-CD compilation of materials from his tapes, along with an LP, Jesus Christ from A to Z, which has different recordings.
