Tim Hutton and Thomas Melchior formed Vulva in 1993 in Britain. The experimental techno duo agreed upon using the Rephlex label (house of Aphex Twin) and released In the Cockpit in 1995. Vulva’s initial domestic discharge was the Mini Space Vulvette EP, for Reflective Information. After a aspect task for the German Resource label known as Yoni (“Yoni” and My Small Yoni), Hutton and Melchior released their second full-length for Rephlex, Birdwatch, in 1995. Vulvic Yonification adopted in past due 1997.
