Sonny Davis

Sonny Davis was the twin sibling of Honey Davis, so that as the Davis Twins, both of these were regular performers about several popular Western Virginia radio applications from the past due ’30s through the past due ’50s. These were not to become confused using the Davis Sisters, which presented a complete of four related warblers. A disk jockey and performer called Sleepy Jeffers — who was simply Honey’s spouse — produced what could be the just recordings offering the twins, like the songs “Pretending Is a casino game” and “My Blackbirds ARE Bluebirds Right now.” The tunes had been originally released around the Starday label in 1957; like almost anything around the catalog of the bastion of honky tonk and rockabilly, the songs have already been reissued on some compilations.
